The WHEI World Tag Team Championship was a professional wrestling world tag team championship created and promoted by War Hawks Entertainment Inc. for the Raw brand. It was one of three tag team titles for WHEI's roster and one of the two original tag team titles. Alongside the WHEI WWE Tag Team Championship on the SmackDown Brand and the LWL World Tag Team Championship on the LWL brand.

During the inception of the War Hawks Universe Mode it was decided that the brand split would be reinstated to allow talent to shine that wouldn't get a chance to under the unified roster. Thus this championship was brought back for season 1 to be the exclusive tag team title of the Raw brand. SmackDown kept the WWE Tag Team titles but reverted them back to their previous design due to not liking it. LWL then introduced their own tag team titles to be exclusive to them.

The championship was contested for throughout season one until the reintroduction of the brand split in real life and the next game brought new tag team titles. At which point these were replaced by the WHEI Raw Tag Team Championship. The final champions were the New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston).

History Edit

This title recognizes the history of the real life WWE World Tag Team Championship which was established in 1971. While the title was unified with the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2009 and the lineages of the two combined, this title ignored that and continued as if the unification hadn't happened.

The first champions after reintroduction were the Vaudvillains (Aiden English & Simon Gotch) who were awarded the championship upon their drafting to Raw during the season one draft. They would immediately feud with the New Day's Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston (who were the current WWE Tag Team Champions in real life incidentally). and would almost immediately drop them to the pair at One Night Stand (2015).

After several rematches and other teams challenging New Day for the title, it was sadly abandoned as season one came to a close. This was because the brand split had since been brought back in real life and a new set of tag team titles for both brands were introduced. This had the side effect of making the New Day the second, and final champions of these titles in season one, as well as the final champions of this title overall.
